Confirmation Program 2023
Pictures from Confirmation Program 2022
The confirmation program 2023 is open to all students, grades 8-12 who are interested in learning more about their faith and becoming members of KIUMC. It is important not to go through Confirmation simply because you're "supposed to," or because you've reached a certain age. Confirmation is to confirm a faith that is stirring within you.
We have a ton to go over and plan to be in session from 11-12:30. We anticipate asking parents to sign up to provide lunch. Our pastors and other adult leaders will be teaching classes on the following topics: the Bible, God the Father, sin, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, The Apostle's Creed, The History of the Church, and the Trinity. Class facilitators are Angie Monzeglio, Bobby Macey, and Linda Deems.
The scheduled meeting dates are as follows:
March 5, 12, 19, 26
April 2, 9, 16
April 22-23 - Overnight Retreat at Camp Pecometh
Service project TBD
At least one parent should attend the first orientation meeting on March 5 at 11:00am in the youth room upstairs. Students will be confirmed at our Tent Service on May 28. It is expected that students attend 6 out of 7 sessions and the overnight retreat in order to be confirmed.
If you have questions, contact Angie Monzeglio. If your student wants to sign up please register below.....
