Do you want to learn about how to be a Christian among your friends, at school, and around family?
If you said Yes to these Qs, then RSLP is for you!!
Program details:
Each week we will have: teachings, discussions, break times (bring your own snack + outdoor free time), identity-in-Christ development, group activities, prayer, and a weekly challenge to complete before next week’s RSLP gathering.
Starts Sunday, June 28th
8 weeks long
Sundays 2-4:30pm
Ends Sunday, August 16th with an awards ceremony afterwards (4:45pm - 5:30pm)
Materials we ask RSLP youth to bring:
Their own personal Bible. This is to be a physical book to hold, read, and highlight verses in. NOTE: If youth does not have a personal Bible yet, please contact me (Brittney) so I can put one in their hands.
A portable outdoor chair.
A pen/pencil and a highlighter.
A small snack to eat during break time (these are not to be shared).

All other materials will be provided by Roots Youth Ministries and KIUMC.
RSLP Awards Ceremony
Sunday, August 16th at 4:45-5:30pm. (Right after the end of RSLP Week 8)

Friends, family, and KIUMC church members! Come out to support our RSLP Youth Leaders and hear what they learned this summer!
RSLP Youth! Get ready to share your "RSLP Standouts," be awarded your Certificate of Completion, and receive some gifts from your RSLP Leaders!
RSLP Certificate of Completion
RSLP Certificates will be awarded at the RSLP Award Ceremony to youth who have completed the Roots Summer Leadership Program.
Attendance Commitment
Youth must make every effort to attend each week.
No more than 2 absences will be allowed, as this is only an 8 week program.
In order to complete the program and be awarded an RSLP Certificate of Completion, youth must notify Brittney/Femi in advance AND ask another RSLP youth to inform them of what they missed.
Applications are due by midnight on Wednesday, June 24th. Spots are limited!
